Roman blinds
Roman blinds are traditionally handmade from your choice of fabric and mounted onto a Velcro track, making them easy to hang and to operate. Fabric blinds are at their best when made from close-woven material, and can be supplied as interlined or with a blackout lining.
Venetian blinds - metal and wooden
I can provide classy wooden Venetian blinds and contemporary metal Venetian blinds that are made-to-measure and will fit all types of windows. The slats come in two widths - 35mm and 50mm - with matching pelmets and fitting instructions. I can source many different qualities of wood finishes for wooden Venetian blinds, to suit all budgets and design styles.
Vertical blinds
Vertical blinds comprise strips of fabric (called 'vanes') hung vertically. These blinds offer a great way to achieve privacy and filter the light entering a room. I have a wide choice of vertical blind fabrics and we can make vanes that are either 25mm or 50mm wide. Replacement vanes are also available - get in touch for further details.
Roller blinds
Roller blinds are available in a large range of plain or patterned fabrics, ranging in thickness from 'blackout' to 'sunscreen'. Each fabric can be made with a processed laminated backing. The material is coated with a clear protective layer and laminated by ironing a lining onto the back of the material. I can also work with your own material for roller blinds. But please do check the thickness, because bulky material may not roll up smoothly.
Fabric laminating
Laminating the fabric of your blinds is a great way of colour matching them if you decorate your room or change your curtains. It also helps improve their texture and quality. However, it's a complex procedure, which is why I provide a specialist service that ensures it's done properly.
